Why Resident Evil I V Is A Game Worth Playing
Resident Evil 4 or more popularly known as RE4 is the fourth installment by Capcom of the Resident Evil franchise. It has been an immensely successful video game, with some even claiming that the fourth installment has been by far the best of all of Capcom's Resident Evil releases.
If you have gotten the chance to play this game, whether on the Wii or the PlayStation 2, you would definitely agree that this game holds its own when it is pitted against other great games like the Metal Gear franchise, Devil May Cry or any other action/adventure games that one would play. It is a game that is worth playing twice, and it is not because you are doing this out of boredom; it is actually worth the time that you spend as you try saving the president's daughter one more time.
1. You get to revisit the whole RE4 story, which is drop-dead awesome by the way.
Once the cinematics come into play at the start of Resident Evil 4, you know that the guys at Capcom mean business when they try to give you that creepy, scary vibe. You are stranded at some creepy, quiet village in the European continent, and the two police escorts that came along with you almost immediately lose their lives as you separate from them. Once this whole thing happens, you know that you are in for a pretty good roller coaster ride as you try and search for Ashley through the village. As you mosey your way along this incredibly creepy European village, you will also find that your firepower gets better and better whenever you meet up with the wandering merchant that sells you weapons and first aid sprays. It is a story that you just simply couldn't get tired of, RE4 that is.
2. Certain side quests that you might have missed could be done again.
Whether it is mini games like the shooting range wherein you can win button caps, get a free broken butterfly or actually coming across a free rocket launcher or even making money out of the chicken eggs you can get out of the farm, there are a whole lot of side quests that one can play in RE4. And chances are, you might not have come across all of them the first time you have finished the game. So play it again; it will be fun.
3. You get to see Ashley in suit of armor.
So we get it; there are usually bonuses after gamers accomplish a game for the first time. But Ashley in an armored suit? Now that's something that one should definitely play for. It is like looking at a Barbie clad in full armor. Aside from making Ashley look cute and clunky, this actually does have some use for you. Ashley would actually be impervious to bites from attacking zombies that you might not have gunned down in time. Oh and did we mention Leon gets to have his very own costume change as well?
