Command And Conquer: Red Alert I I I, Love It Or Leave It?
Only a very few games on the PC platform has the bragging rights to say that their gaming franchise has been around for nearly a decade already. In fact, there are only a handful of these that have stood the test of time and emerged with flying colors. So when it comes to one of these games, one stand out would obviously be the whole Command and Conquer franchise.
From the favorite faces like Tanya and many others, this game has come a long way from its humble beginnings a decade ago. So whether you're a fan of this franchise or not, there are a couple of reasons why you should love Command and Conquer - Red Alert 3. If you've got some time to spare, stay a while and spend a minute or two in front of your computer and exercise those eyes a little bit; read up and enjoy.
1. Reason to love RA3 number 1 – MAC users can play it on their system.
That's the beauty of it; this game isn't just focused on one operating system, it is actually compatible on both PC and MAC. This means hundreds and thousands more gamers are able to play this game. And you know what more players mean, right? This means more pawnage for you and more people that you could school in the way of the samurai, the motherland or in the name of democracy.
If you're the type of person that likes playing RA3 online with other people around the world, you should definitely love this game. It's a fresh change from most of the online multiplayer games that we might have gotten accustomed to playing with. And trust us, this really is an awesome game and it's worth what you're paying for – definitely.
2. Reason to love RA3 number 2 – It's still the same fast-paced, action-packed strategy game that has had gamers stuck to their seats.
It doesn't take a long time in the Red Alert universe to wage war on another country. In fact, all you probably need to wage a full-scale attack would just take about ten minutes or less. From then on, it's going to be the survival of the fittest. This means the winner would most likely be determined by the player who can expand the fastest, build up his armies, and utilize his forces the best. If both you and your opponent are pretty good, you'll definitely be in for a pretty good and bitter fight to the death.
3. Reason to leave RA3 number 1 – It gets a little boring after a while.
This is the problem with most strategy games; it sometimes gets a little boring and a little old after quite a considerable time of playing. It's not like some MMORPG that you can have several character classes, quests, raids, and PVP battles against different users. This is one downfall of most strategy games. Probably, it lacks a little bit more oomph after all the missions have been played, and all the techniques and strategies have been mastered.
