This update of the '70s horror classic revs up the fear factor all over again. A group of college friends picks up a hitchhiker on a Texas road. When their passenger shoots herself, the friends turn to the locals for help. A response is slow to come, so the friends visit a remote homestead. The nightmare gets worse as they encounter a family of inbred cannibals who begin shredding the group one by one. Erin (Jessica Beil) is the last one standing.
